While quite a distance out in the countryside for this family run hotel was a great find. Our room was comfortable and clean, staff kind and helpful and the breakfast very good. The real bonus was the outdoors bonfire, where everyone gathered around in the evening.
Absolutely everything about this place was wonderful. It is in a stunning location with a gorgeous view. Make sure to take all of your food with you as you are not near any stores or restaurants… but that is part of the whole experience of going! We were the only ones in the building when we stayed. The floors are pretty creaky so I could imagine if there were other people in the building you could hear them walking around. For us wasn’t an issue.
It was such an amazing experience! The hotel’s location is perfect—almost midway between Bolu city center and Mudurnu, and only about 15–20 minutes from Lake Abant. It’s also close to a mosque and several restaurants, which makes the location very convenient.
The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive throughout our stay. And the breakfast was WOW! It’s not an open buffet, but rather a generous and delicious meal with a great variety of items, served with tea. Everything was fresh...
