We were looking for a smaller hotel with a traditional Schwarzwald flair in a beautiful location, and this fit the bill perfectly! This is an old house, but entirely up to modern standards inside, with a friendly staff and warm feel. The room was cozy, looking out on the quiet main plaza with its church. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. The breakfast included a variety of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, marmalade, yogurts and fruit, boiled egg, juices and Coffee. A great breakfast to start the day. The bed was very comfortable. We highly recommend Hotel-Restaurant SchöpPerle! We will be back at our next visit to the Black Forest . It was magical, whimsical and wonderful every step of the way. We couldn't complain about a thing! The staff was so kind and friendly and fun. The sad thing was that we had to leave . You must stay there if your in the Black Forest:)
Chose this hotel for the hiking in the area during a road trip. The staff is amazing, food was great for dinner, and extra things like the sauna are a great touch.
