My wife and I decided to stay at Hotel Gasthaus Adler because we wanted to experience a quiet, classic, but not far from the black forest at all. Located between farms, it offers amazing views. Their restaurant was amazing! The food, service and atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable with a nice bathroom with lots of room. We also had a very spacious balcony were we sat and enjoy the big trees right across the street. Ths staff made it...
A great find. Well run. Quiet and still walkable to most parts of the city. Would love if they had complimentary bikes. We couldn’t park Zeus Scooters nearby.
Such a welcoming breakfast area and delicious breakfast! We would’ve preferred traditional air conditioning, and a bit of a larger bathroom, but overall it was quite comfortable. Also, the bikes available were very nice. The staff were kind and helpful.

A wonderful location in the Black forest with the flair of the old Germany the old Black Forest the people working there were absolutely wonderful. It’s a very classy environment. Fantastic food, fantastic wine from barrels. They also have a sauna and a honor system in the seller so if you would like wine or any other beverage, you just take it put your name on it and pay at the end beautiful environment. You can see all the hills and mountains. Nice cute little town walking distance to a bus...
Front desk was so nice. Room was very clean. Loved the sky lights that could open for fresh air. It was a comfortable room for 4. The location was convenient for our day driving trips.
in hornberg...a ways from triberg....very nice small hotel...and a great resturant next door run by the same people who run the hotel...ate dinner 2 of 3 nights and the food was good both times...highly recomend
There is a beautiful hiking trail right by the hotel. Good souvenir stores right next to hotel. My daughter had her birthday while we were there and the staff ordered her a Black Forest birthday cake and decorated the table for her. I was very impressed with their service to help make this a memorable day for my daughter.
