This hotel was very conveniently located inside the castle grounds, just a three minute walk from the public parking outside the walls. It was also close to great restaurants and lovely shops. The room was a lovely baroque decor and the breakfast was superb. The final plus was the elevator in this historic building which made the 3rd floor very accessible to my husband and myself...78 & 76 respectively. We will stay here again for sure if/when we return to this amazing village.

Boutique inn run by a wonderful proprietress. Yes, breakfast is extra so if that offends you are not the clientele. We arrived more than one hour before the regular check in time. The staff was very welcoming, and our room was ready for us to check in. Furthermore, a small plate of fruit beautifully presented was waiting for us. The room was tastefully decorated. The weather was near 33C, luckily our room has an air conditioner. The breakfast was good. The only minus of our stay maybe the noise of the air conditioner. But it didn't affect my sleep, and our stay here is among the most satisfying in our 30 day...

Hotel Dvorak is in the middle of town, on the river in the shadow of the castle. While not opulent, the hotel is well appointed and very comfortable. Nice bed and pillows (often hard to find), couch in the room (#101, a deluxe double with a fabulous view of the castle and river). The staff was pleasant, breakfast buffet was well above average and dinner was solid Czech food (excellent sauerkraut). Due to the nature of the village, car travel is tricky and you require a taxi to guide you back...
