"Well presented, plenty of parking, great choice for breakfast, really good sized rooms, comfy beds, exceptionally comfy pillows-best we've ever slept on!! Could have done with a non-slip bath mat fir one room as unsteady on feet- may be available but didn't ask. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and revisit."

"Hotel close to a pub with a good variety of food. Staff were welcoming and helpful. I forgot a razor and they had shaving kits available. Free parking was beneficial. Comfortable rooms and be. Air conditioning was a perfect during the heat."

"This is a beautiful hotel. A traditional style property with a rustic charm. Wood panelling, roof beams and cladding add to its charm. Gorgeous stained glass windows enhance the stunning dining room. Friendly informative staff offer a warm welcome. A tasty continental and freshly cooked breakfast is available. Placed in a central location to all local attractions. A well stocked bar. Discounted parking is available, a shortwalk away but bags were secured stored ahead of checking in and diections were given alongside a useful map."

"This was our third stay at the hotel and it was fantastic thank you. The staff were super helpful and kindly sent more pillows to my room when requested, even beating us back to the room whilst we went for food so it was nice not to worry. The only improvement would be the breakfast and dinner package because we were unaware that it was a fixed separate menu rather than the main one. Maybe this is mentioned somewhere but it was something I’m sure I checked and I had got excited for fish and chips, only for this to not be on the fixed menu. Only a minor thing of course and maybe my stomach talking but we would have known to avoid the dinner package had I have seen this."

"Room was great, beds very comfy with 2 pillows that where big and plump unlike some hotels that give you 1 pillow about as thick as a rizler paper and everything was spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a walk-in shower which I personally prefer over climbing into a bath and a shelf to put all the toiletries. The room also came with a large fan that worked exceptionally well in cooling the room and in this very hot weather was a godsend. All in all a very pleasant trip and I would stay here again."
