"Great hotel in a superb location for my visit to Oxford. My room was clean and bigger than I had expected and the shower superb with great water flow. I interacted with several staff during my stay and they were all polite, knowledgeable, and had a good sense of humour, something a lot of hotels lack these days. I had a meal and a couple of beers in the bar and both were excellent quality - the pizza perfectly cooked and the beer perfectly cold. I will certainly return again if I am in Oxford and next time make use of the excellent pool facility and Spa, Great hotel, well worth a visit."

"Obviously very small and basic (very limited shelving, no seating, etc), but very clean and well maintained with a modern feel. Staff lovely and very helpful. Decent location for buses and taxis/uber. Or a 45 minute walk to the city. Thank you!"

"Ideal location for getting the bus into Oxford. Room size, layout and furniture all good. Mattress too hard for me (not a great night's sleep) but fine for my husband. Ceiling cobwebs. Bathroom door needed cleaning. Sink cracked. Bathroom otherwise beautifully clean. Nice toiletries. Wi-fi very patchy. Staff were good and attentive."
