What a beautiful place! The building used to be a monastery, and it still has a small but gorgeous chapel. The service was excellent, breakfast had a lot of variety, and the restaurant for dinner was tasty. Location wise it's perfect. It's a 5 minute drive to the town Cangas de Onis, where you can take the buses up to Covadonga and the lakes, and also explore the town, which is very pretty. Tons of good restaurants there too. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff was absolutely wonderful and treated my dog like royalty. I brought him as a pet because he is my wife’s registered service dog, yet he has never been treated that well! I reserved the economy room, which was just fine for one night. The only issue I encountered was the steam heater in the bathroom was on when I checked in and it took it a very long time to cool down. Over all very nice spot. Room was nice and beds were very comfortable! The room was hot with no way to shut off the heater or cool it down. Also you need a code to get your key out of a box in front of the building. Not sure if we missed a message or what, but we never received a code. Thankfully there were other guests who let us use their code to retrieve our key otherwise I’m not sure if we would have gotten in that night.
