I arrived after midnight. I was welcomed by a very nice and welcoming lady, I later found out she is security. I was rapidly accomodated in a very nice, clean, and big room with a larger than normal tub. Everything was sparkling clean and brilliant. The lady adviced me where to park and alerted me about the free made to order breakfast. I chose the eggs and bacon platter. I was served a choise of vegetables and a varied of ham and salami before my breakfast arrived. I was also given yogurt....
Beautiful hotel right in the middle of Brno. The views from the higher floors, and specially the roof top terrace are incredible. Looking up at Spilberk Castle on the plateau, especially at night, gives Athens Parthenon vibes. The hotel itself is an actual work of early twentieth century modern art from Czech architect Bohuslav Fuchs, as if you are sleeping in a Mondrian painting.
This hotel is a sleeper when it comes to value and how nice it is. The decorations, paint, areas are top notch. Everything seems to be design with some type of nature theme around it. There are plants everywhere but in the right spots. The rooms are very spacious. The bathrooms are private to each room but not inside the room just across the room you have assigned doors with numbers for your toilet and another door for the shower. All features co promised were available except lobby bar but restaurant bar made up for it. An old building but well maintained and modern bathroom features.
The staff was very helpful. I would stay here again!!!! Street car #1 & #6 from the main train station stop within a 5 minute walk to the hotel. This part of the city is quiet and safe. Make sure you try the very good restraint across the street. Breakfast at the hotel is quite good.
The apartment is a large luxury apartment with many amenitities such as a jacuzzi tub, heated floors, in the batroom, and Netflix on the tv’s, and a washer and dryer. It’s in a great location close to everyting in a pedestrian zone. The only improvement I suggest is the blind in the upstairs bedroom is missing so the sun starts coming in early making it hard to sleep late.
We were very pleasantly surprised by our stay here. We expected something "middle of the road," but were impressed at every corner by the kindness of staff, cleanliness of facility, spa options, restaurant quality (breakfasts were amazing, and our one dinner was a real treat), and wine selection. We will absolutely be back on our next trip to South Moravia. Highly recommend.
It’s an outstanding apartment, very stylish and spacious, very well equipped including a full kitchen (no pots and pans, though), Nespresso machine, washing machine, two toilets and a huge living room that really looks like the photos.
Plus, the location is outstanding. Everything in Brno seems a short walk away
