"Great hotel set in a beautiful location"

"This hotel is a great value. The desk staff were very nice and helpful, the room was comfortable and functional, and the on-site restaurant with the interior patio was a nice way to start the day with a coffee. I checked out the gym and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of equipment available, including a lot of plate-loaded equipment. The hotel is a bit of an Uber/taxi ride from the city center (about 15 minutes and 15-30 euro depending on demand), and the train from/to the nearby Los Prados station doesn't run very frequently, so if you're planning to explore the downtown area, make sure to budget time and funds for transportation there and back. I was there for a conference at the FYCMA venue and was able to easily walk there and back each day."

"A perfectly pleasant stay at this hotel. Staff were excellent and helpful. Hotel rooms were a great size and functional, but the hotel now starting to show its age and is a bit dated. Bathrooms appeared clean, but smelt a bit musty. For the price I’d definitely stay here again as it represents great value, but don’t book here thinking you’re coming to a resort type hotel."

"A fabulously modern and beautiful hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for two nights and even managed to squeeze in some round the pool time. Great pool by the way. A tip if you are arriving by train...there are two Antequera stations. Antequera AV which is the local station ( the walk to hotel is reasonably short but uphill (big hills) and brutal in 35 degrees heat. Would recommend getting a taxi. The other station is Antequera Santa Ana which is 17 KM away and you'll need a cab for sure. The walk to the town centre is about 10 mins once you've found the best route. Beautiful town too. Would definitely stay in this hotel again, in fact it's made us want to check out more Paradores across Spain."

"The hotel is lovely and very clean, and the beds are super comfortable. The rooms are a little smaller than in a typical hotel, but still spacious enough and this wasn’t a problem for us. My main concern was the amount of light in the room at night. The shutters completely block the outside light, but the air conditioning has a large, very bright display with no apparent night mode to turn it off. It’s essentially like having a small lamp on all night. There is also quite a bit of light coming in around the door, which is more noticeable because of the relatively compact size of the room. The staff were friendly, but their English is limited, including at reception, so communication can sometimes be a little difficult. The hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, but they recommend one just a couple of minutes’ walk away. It has a beautiful interior courtyard with a fountain and a very relaxing atmosphere. Overall, a lovely, clean and comfortable hotel, with the nighttime lighting being the main drawback."
