Excellent but excellent place! Pictures can’t describe the beauty of it! The Resort is amazing, staff amazing, food amazing … wish the food could have been served also after 9:30 pm… I would give this place over 5 stars if I could have.
Amazing! Midenza is such a relaxing and beautiful resort. The amenities are top notch! From the beautiful pool to the delicious breakfast and dinner, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. It is also the cleanest resort that we have ever been to. Such pride is taken in making sure that everything is perfect for your stay.

The highlight of staying here was the delicious restaurant (la locanda) — we ate there two of our three nights and both meals were great! the property is not really close to / walkable to the beach (Riaci Beach). we did it on the first day and while it’s only a little over a kilometer away there are many hills to navigate and would not recommend it. The room and shower were smaller than expected from the photos online (the outdoor terrace was bigger than the room) unfortunately it was too hot...
Lovely little hotel was everything it promised. Great location, fabulous views and comfortable room. About the nicest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a European hotel. Breakfast buffet was small but very good with eggs made to order available. Evening aperitivi on the terrace to watch the sunset were a highlight.

An awesome hotel for the 4 nights and 5 days my wife and I spent in Tropea. The hotel setting is beautiful and allows easy access to the beach and city center. On street parking close to the hotel was no problem. Our room had a large balcony with lounge chairs and stunning views of the sea, the beach and the Aeolian Islands to the west. The buffet breakfast was fabulous. The beach is accessible by either driving or by walking down a long flight of stairs. The hotel staff were extremely helpful...
Very much enjoyed our stay at this small, 10 room boutique hotel. We were there for a two night stay mid week in July - hotel seemed about half full and we had the pool to ourselves. A couple major things to note here: Breakfast was INCREDIBLE! Particularly for Italian standards, which let's face it, are not very high. Everything was home made - including the croissants and baked goods - and an omelette and fresh squeezed OJ were available on request at no extra cost. Seriously a great amenity...
One of our favorite places to stay. You can feel the love that goes into everything. The quality in service, experience and everything available was simply perfect.
The location is phenomenal. The staff are amazingly professional, helpful and friendly. The rooms and the infrastrcture is againg and needs some updating though. Overall, we had and amazingly positive experience.
I can definetely recommend this place. Nice modern room with a great bathroom and a beautiful balcony. Close to the main streets. Staff of the afternoon was ok, but not so nice. The lady in the morning was more warm. Breakfast ok with enough options. You are not gonna regret it!
I will say this. I left my cpap on train lamezia station realized it when I exited train in Tropea. Host at hotel called someone and bag was delivered to my room next day. The host takes care of everything beyond expectations
