Hotels in Broek op Langedijk

This was a hidden little gem I wish I had found on previous trips. The local vibe and location are awesome. I will say that the only reason I didn’t give it all 5 stars was due to two things. The cleaning crew left their cleaning supplies on the counter, not a huge deal, however, the loud neighbors at 2, 3, 4 am were a little overboard.

Had a little difficulty with the internet on our first day but then it resolved it's self before we had a chance to asks our hosts. Spacious rooms and wonderful overhead shower.

Perfectly located in central Alkmaar. Beautiful hotel and we stayed in a lovely room with a view overlooking the entire city. Some things to note about the hotel: 1. You have to check out the remote for the AC unit, which they didn't tell us at check-in, so we had to go back downstairs and ask about it. 2. Excellent location right across from train station. Surprisingly quiet. Very clean but basic and small. If you have any mobility issues, make sure you get a ground floor room. The stairs are very steep. Breakfast was great!

The hotel is situated on the grounds of a castle with many walking paths and beautiful scenery. Its great for anyone who wants a quiet holiday and appreciates nature. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was modest and clean with all the amenities you expect from a good hotel. Although in a green area, the hotel is within walking distance of the town center that has a number of good restaurants. Both Haarlem and Amsterdam are within an hours distance from Heemskerk.

Augusta Hotel is full of charm and ambiance, is very clean and well kept. Our room, though small, was comfortable. Reading other reviews we seem to have missed those lovely larger rooms (we were in Room 5). The stairs are steep and there is no lift. The staff of this hotel is by far the most helpful, cheerful, and kind of any we have experienced in our travels anywhere in the world! We chose the hotel solely for its sport facilities: the gym and the swimming pool. They both were opened in all hours, not crowded and very clean. The gym had good variety of machines and the pool was long enough (16 meters) for lap-swim. We enjoyed exercising each morning before going to tour the city. We used the “Amsterdam & Region” card for all our traveling needs and moved around with ease

The service was more than we expected. They packed a breakfast for us when they knew we had to check out before breakfast. We would stay again.

Love the hotel. We stayed in the Annex, it’s a bit of a walk from the main hotel, but not bad, just a little different then most hotels we’ve stayed at. The staff was super helpful. Especially when we checked out and drove away with our passports still in the little safe. They were so helpful and saved the day for us! 10 out of 10 for them! They have a little parking lot that is free to use for guests. Would stay there again!
