Well-maintained hotel in a lovely country village. The building has been there a long time, but everything was clean and worked well. The hotel restaurant was very busy all the time! I found the food and service outstanding. The local area is full of walking paths and plenty of natural beauty.
We had a great experience in this hotel. We had a family room and it was spectacular. The room is recently remodeled with a wonderful view of the country side of the area. There is small living room, bunk beds, two TVs, small refrigerator, safety box and a king bed. They have a self car parking included and the bus station is beside the hotel if you want to go the city center (#3 or 4). The gym, sauna and pool look nice as well. The front staff were helpful. We strongly recommend it.
Since we didn't know where we were supposed to park our car, we had to walk inside and it was quite confusing during the rush hour at the restaurant. I was not able to find the reception desk so I walked through the hallway with no luck. When I found that it was inside the restaurant, I asked one of the employee about parking our car and she looked away from me. I assume that she wasn't the employee that I needed in the first place. It was quite confusing at the beginning.
I stumbled upon this place on Expedia while playing a high-stakes game of "where am I driving next in the Netherlands," and it turned out to be the ultimate win. Hands down the best hotel of my trip so far! The place was so clean I’m pretty sure you could eat your breakfast off the floor (though I used the table like a civilized human).
