"The motel is quite old and worn but it is clean and fairly quiet. The big perks are that it’s walking distance to downtown Solvang and all the nice shops and restaurants and the free parking! Parking in downtown Solvang is insane with the Holiday crowds so having free parking and then walking to stuff was definitely worth the money. "

"The staff was so nice at check in and the room was beautiful! It was booked as a “city view” but I couldn’t really see the city just houses from our window. Despite that it was gorgeous and I would definitely book again! The restaurant next door was also amazing! "

"I really enjoyed my stay at Vinland Hotel and Lounge. We stayed in a double queen room, and it was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy, and the balcony was a great bonus—perfect for relaxing. The bathroom was nice and updated, which I always appreciate. The bar had a cozy atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is excellent—easy to walk around and explore the area without needing to drive. Parking was also easy and convenient, which made everything stress-free. One small note: I wasn’t a fan of the pillows, so I’d recommend bringing your own if you’re picky about that. Overall, a great stay, and I’d happily return."

"Got the Junior suite. Good size clean room. Next to elevators but didnt bother us that much. Breakfast was ok , no danish. Beautiful back pond with small bridges and koi fishes."
