Clean and comfortable

Great place to stay! Extremely affordable, clean, and overall was better than what we thought it would be. Manager, Patti, was friendly, accommodating, and ready to help in any way. Definitely recommend and will be staying again when we visit!

Everything was more than we expected from check in to check out. All staff that we came in contact with goes out of their way to speak and ask how you’re doing. Definitely felt VERY welcome throughout our stay.

Hotel was very convenient great parking, vclean rooms friendly courteous staff.

Very clean! I really appreciate the NO pet policy and will use Holiday Inn for this very reason. Please do not change this policy.

Family & I wanted to visit the mountains for the first time. Found this hotel, and the price was just right for our budget. We visited Grandfather Mountain! The hotel location was ideal! Great staff, great hot breakfast. Walmart and food shops where only a minute away literally! Great place to stay! Kids and wife loved it! Large room. And the janitorial staff was so amazing and nice. Best trip our family has taken! Feel assured if you book this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

The stay was very good, comforting and clean. The only thing I notice was the bathroom mirror light is not very bright.

This hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff have been excellent at addressing my concerns.

The property has been updated recently and it definitely shows! My room was clean and the shower pressure was amazing. Breakfast was good and included Belgian waffles, packaged muffins, cereal with hot options of eggs, bacon/sausage, biscuits, gravy and potatoes. Would for sure stay here again!

As a child we always stayed at Best Western on vacation and I have many fond memories of that. After getting married I booked a room at Best Western and it was horrible. I tried several more and they just weren't good experiences. Recently I made a last minute reservation at the Best Western in Hickory NC. I have to say I have worked in the hotel business at the beach for over 20 years, and people paying 100's I'd dollars a night do not get the service I received at Best Western. I was greeted...

I thought it was an amazing hotel. From what I have been to, in the past. Design and layout is very well done, I think. I didn't try the pool or workout room, but looked well set up. Breakfast was good; Scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, didn't try the potato, biscuits and gravy.. Server woman is great. Very on to keeping coffee cups and apple/ orange juice chalice glasses full. Dispite road noise..

The fact that I still heard my neighbors to the left of my bathroom talking.
