We had an excellent one night stay in this clean, family-run hotel. The room was great and had everything we needed to be comfortable. I like that the refrigerator is much larger instead of those tiny ones that freeze all of your food. Thanks!!
We had a very nice time. All staff were exceptionally friendly. The room was airy, large. The beds were good. One problem we had in our room (maybe not in the other rooms) was there was no bathroom fan, making for a steamy bathroom. Behind the hotel on the absolutely beautiful grounds, was a large pond with wildfowl. We walked to the Wabash several times, which is about a quarter mile from the hotel. The inn was very conveniently located to the town and to the visitor's center.
Excellent lady at check in. Amazing customer service skills & very clear she enjoys her job. Very secure area. Room was exceptional on cleaning. If ever thru area & need a place this is your go to place. There is a Subway next door as well as a Road Ranger T/S. Only really 1 place on a Tuesday to have sit down meal is Family Diner. Excellent place as well. Would rate hotel 10 star if could
I have heard in the past that the hotel was a little less than ideal. Older and in need of some attention to things. That's just not what I experienced. It was like new in many respects. Just the smell of the hallways and rooms was refreshing. Excellent hotel. Staff was just perfect, even the night shift as our 6-10 of our reunion group sat around the lobby.
