"The photo displayed on the hotel’s booking page was misleading, as the room shown does not exist. The room we received was far from acceptable. Although this is a pet-friendly hotel, the sofa bed mattress had visible urine stains, which is completely unacceptable. We reserved a king suite but were given a queen bed and a sofa bed instead. Overall, the hotel felt old, outdated, and poorly maintained. I will not stay at a Clarion property again."

"Everything there was great when I come in town for the dr it’s my best place to be because you are close to everything. I been here a couple times everyone just as nice as they can be have met some wonderful people here. Any when I got to come back for my hand checkup for having surgery I hope to be able to get a room here"

"This place is so unique and it’s conveniently located downtown. The front desk let us check in an hour early; our room was classy and very clean; it has a nice fitness center and sauna in the basement; and the hotel provided us with a nice welcome card and fruit tray in our room without us asking for this or charging us for it — what a nice touch. It’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. "

"I have stayed at many different hotels and resorts over the last 30 years. This Hampton Inn and Suites in Durham was by far one of the best if not the best. The staff were very nice and answered all of our questions. The coffee was always on and hot! The breakfast was very nice and accommodated all of our dietary needs. The location is great as well. Thank you all for making our stay very nice, relaxing, and enjoyable."

"The facility was very good. Service was very poor. The desk staff was very poor. She was talking to someone on the phone - about his upcoming stay on SPEAKER. She never looked up as we were checking out. So we just left our keys and left. No complimentary coffee in AM. There was someone sitting in the lobby that morning that just looked up at me and said “The service here is terrible”."
