Beautiful hotel - super friendl staff - loved the large pool only dissapointment was that hot tub was Out of service and was reason for booking - otherwise very happy with stay.

It's a beautiful mansion, adornerd with unique and perfectly chosen furniture, chandeliers, tapestry and artful pieces. I believe its a former institution of some sort. The staff was lovely and charming. Thank you for your hospitality!!!

I use to live in Greensboro for many many years and always thought this looked like a fun place to stay. I have eaten at the green valley grill but had never had the pleasure of staying at the o’Henry. I was in town for a night decided to stay here. The hotel is gorgeous. The room is spacious! It is very elegant and classy..reminiscent of “old money”. I would stay again if ever given the opportunity

We stayed at the "sister property" (the O'Henry) several times but had not stayed at the Proximity. We tried but COVID or one thing or another led to not making our trip. We had met the original owners and then knew about their transfer to the employees. What a terrific thing for an employer to do and what a great deal for the employees. Great stop after a day on the road. We checked in and we're told complimentary appetizers and drinks were being served and the entire lobby smelled of fresh baked cookies. Very welcoming.

We weren't sure what to expect but decided to take a chance on this place since it was close to where we were going to a meeting. To our delight this was a pretty new hotel. We were highly impressed with the staff, including the bar staff. Beautiful room! Very modern and clean. Mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The only thing I would change is the ice machine. Only 1 for the entire building and on the 1st floor. We didn't find an ice bucket either. Other than that, we would definitely return!

Hotel was conveniently located near the Triad airport but also for the project in Greensboro. Facility is nice but starting to age, staff was great.

Quite affordable for such a clean and well appointed hotel. Convenient to plenty of shopping and restaurants around Winston-Salem and Kernersville. Friendly staff and the included breakfast is a big time and money saver without forgoing quality. 2 thumbs up!

Wingate was great and always is. This is my go-to spot for business trips to Greensboro. They have a nice/helpful staff, a great room is always ready when I arrive and the overall hotel is always well cared for. I would recommend this hotel.

Clean with nice breakfast. Fresh coffee All Day. Staff is friendly and the hotel is pet Friendly. They keep the hotel clean! They have filtered water fountain to refill your water bottles.

very friendly and accomodating staff....the breakfast set up certainly was not conducive to diabetic clients; the commode seat is broken in room 302.....broken on our arrival.....will refer and stay again!!!
