An excellent hotel for a two night stay in Salem. The staff are welcoming and polite. Breakfast service is well prepared and the staff ensure the dining area is organized and clean. The property as a whole is clean and well maintained.
The motel and property were great. What wasn't great was Expedia....We switched and booked directely with the motel and saved about $70 per night. What is the story here? I thot Expedia was supposed to save you money but if I had booked throught Expedia it would have cost me alot more money!!!! Don't know if I will trust Expedia anymore for motel rooms and etc!!
We have stayed there before and the room was great and the employees were all super friendly so when we had to make a late night emergency trip for our sick college kid who ended up in the ER we booked a room here around 9pm on the drive up. We checked in around 11 to get our keys and headed to the hospital. After being at the ER until 7:30am and not getting back to our hotel around 8 we asked the extremely friendly guy at the front desk if it would be possible to get a late checkout and he was...
Room was big and clean. Property was quiet and easy to find and staff was absolutely amazing. They were accommodating, super nice, friendly, and do what they can for their guest.
Beautiful rooms and property! The staff was friendly and quick to help with issues, the beds were big and comfortable, and the Oregon themed decor throughout was appreciated. The restaurant food was okay, but the breakfast was heaven for those with a sweet tooth. Mango coffee cake, zucchini/blueberry/chocolate muffins, apple crumble, honey greek and mango yogurt, all so good. They gave us a box to take some treats on the road!
The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was generous Eggs with mushrooms and spinach, bacon, breakfast burritos and french toast. Muffins, and other things..the restaurant that's is open in the afternoon had good food and a very nice patio to eat.with beautiful sorroundings . Just a really nice quiet place to unwind.
Nothing wrong with an older property if it's clean and well maintained. It was nice getting to the room and not finding anything at all wrong with it. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the hotel had everything we needed plus options for food within walking distance. The grounds and parking lot were clean. We were never disturbed by noise. We honestly don't have a single complaint!
Limited parking since downtown but the valet service was EXCELLENT! Breakfast and dinner and bar were great. Bummer there was such a homeless population downtime and viewable on the streets and from dinner/bar.
Stay was 12 nights for work, so sleep was important.
Price was about 20% lower for comparable Hotels in Salem ( It stayed consistant and I was shopping around online for over 2 months.
