"The owner is very hands on and we enjoyed our stay. The room has a great cabin decor and was extremely clean. If you are looking for a place close to Helen, then this is a great alternative to staying downtown. They have a small fridge and microwave and supply you with a few kitchen supplies. Note that while it looks like a cabin - it is not a cabin- it is more of a motel format and sits very close to a busy highway. The road noise does slow down at night so it did not keep us awake. The beds could use a bit of updating-but were not so uncomfortable that we could not sleep. Overall- we think it was a great value."
