We checked in very late and they gave us the bed and breakfast that is across the street from their main house. They let us have use of the entire house. They were so very accommodating...we were in awe. I would highly recommend The Aerie Bed and Breakfast to anyone. I have stayed at several 5 star facilities and it deserved 5 stars all around.
From my first contact to my last, this place was incredible. We got into town early and ate and wanted to go to the beach, but needed to change. I called the hotel and spoke to Lisa and told her what was going on, she changed us to a room that was ready so we could come change and drop off our stuff, despite that it was before the 3PM check in. This property is amazing! It’s in a great location and the staff is excellent. Everyone was very friendly and service oriented. The room was great and sparkling clean. There is off street parking as well. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. If I am ever in the area again, I will stay again.
The hotel is within walking distance of historic areas, shops, and restaurants. There is a nice park right next to the hotel. We wish we had discovered the river walk to town sooner--it is an attraction in itself. The only improvement needed is a more varied menu for the hotel bistro--especially for vegetarians. Overall, a wonderful place to stay--we would definitely return!
