"The lock on my door was broken, and the door did not close easily. It required force to shut, and I had to pay close attention and double‑check to ensure it was fully closed. Additionally, the towels did not smell clean, and one of them had a visible stain. There were also flying bugs throughout my room."

"Everything is always perfect at Berry Hill Resort. They are accommodating with early and late check-outs w previous notice. There are many places so see on site such as displays of the history of Berry Hill, a historical family cemetery which is interesting, if you like history. Dogs are welcome and there are fields for walk. Original cabins are on-site which compliment the historical home with its massive pillars and beautiful rooms. Berry Hill also hosts indoor and outdoor weddings which become magical, exquisite events with forever memories."

"Some of the furniture in the public areas needs to be replaced or recovered. There was no problem with parking. The employees were very professional. The one in the morning was very pleasant. Breakfast was OK. It could’ve been a little better. I had no appetite at the time."

"Entire hotel smelled of weed. Only half the lamps had bulbs. The tv didnt work. The fridge only half worked. Sorry excuse of a hotel even for one night."

"Beds were comfortable a the main room was clean. However the bathroom was not the cleanest. Shower hadn’t been fully cleaned and there is terrible water pressure. The AC worked well but was incredibly loud at certain times. Would wake us up each night. Staff was absolutely incredible and very kind. "

"I have stayed at this hotel several times now. The female owner/receptionist is so kind! She recognizes my face now that I have stayed there so many times. If you need more towels or washcloths you just have to ask. The hotel room was clean no bed bugs or anything. The hotel itself is run down and could use an upgrade but then that will make the prices jump. Currently the daily rate is very affordable. The office is accommodating if you need to stay an extra day or if you need to check in early or late. I cannot speak on the breakfast because I never went to try it. Will surely stay at this hotel again in the future!"
