The hotel is well managed and maintained. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were great. Room was also excellent. The surrounding area currently has construction work, but that will no doubt end soon. There are limited dining options in the area and no shopping options. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room on the 5th floor was clean and comfortable. The heating/cooling system was not working in the room and there was a portable dehumidifier with a fan that moved the air around. It was pretty warm but tolerable.
The next night it was cooler outside and our room was more comfortable.
The hotel location was walking distance to the Norwegian Cruise Line terminal which worked out perfectly. It was also a quick walk from the bus that we took in from London after flying in. Great atmosphere, great food, and just a overall great time. Would definitely return!
Quiet, convenient location. Staff was excellent…check-in was super easy and provided information for next day transportation to cruise ship. Restaurant staff was very friendly and the food was delicious.
Thoroughly enjoyed staying here. My stay was only one night, but it was exactly as I imagined a stay at an English Inn would be. The Tavern reminded me of The Holiday with its cozy atmosphere. Bed was comfy and the room was spacious. Shower was a little tight but workable. Otherwise, I will be coming back here again for longer. About a 10 minute or less deive to Blackwater Arboretum and Tall Trees Trail in New Forest Park. And a short drive to Lyndhurst, which is a beautiful village. Good food...
The staff were amazing, helpful and very wonderful. My wife and I really enjoyed our time there. The room was great but the bed mattress is a bit old. We would definitely return.

Great ambience, delicious food, lovely and helpful staff, very clean and pleasant property. We slept well. Really it’s an ideal inn stay, wish we could stay longer, if only to eat more food. Breakfast was that good.
New carpet, very clean room, thoughtful decorations. It is a few miles out of Salisbury and kind of on its own, but host directed us to a great pub, The Lambs Inn, 10 minutes away in a beautiful country setting called Nomansland. Full English Breakfast (extra) was wonderful and also included the continental fare as much as you like.
Just awesome. Loved the rooms with the big windows, loved the hosts, awesome breakfast. Very helpful-for example we arrived early before our room was ready. They let us leave our luggage come in and out. Use the bathroom whatever we need until the room is ready.
Had an amazing stay here! The inn was charming, centrally located, and made it easy to explore the area. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was outstanding. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would happily stay here again.
