The room was amazing!! We had a great time exploring around the town. The parking was a little tricky but being there on a weekend meant we were able to use the additional parking from the business next door.
Connor in his shed was particularly welcoming and thoughtful, we especially loved the private garden. Although a single night the Masons will remain a highlight of our trip to the UK.
We were looking for a place to stay north of Lyme Regis and theJurassic Coast for just a night. We happened upon Lanes by chance and gave it a shot. We were thrilled beyond expectation. We wound up in one of their apartments, which was a bit pricy, but welcome change from charming but cramped B&Bs. They are spacious, beautifully and generously appointed. The staff were lovely, and very kind to our kids.
Great option if staying in Devon. A quiet town with lovely locals and beautiful sights. The rooms were exactly as pictured. The staff were really nice with any needs we had. Megan in particular was amazing help each day.
In the future I think each room could do with some sort of small mini fridge.
Perfect place to stay if you are visiting the Jurassic coast or if visiting Somerset only would criticise the pink toilet paper in the white bathroom .The beds are also too comfy I overslept one morning
We were visiting the Jurassic coast area and found this treasure. OK, it's not on the coast, but only a dozen miles from Lyme Regis, where accommodation prices are very steep. By going inland a little, we found this great old farmhouse turned into a hotel - a destination for weddings, but also a thoroughly nice place for regular travelers like us.
It's in an unlikely setting. You wind through a mile or so of suburban housing on narrow streets. Follow the signs and suddenly you are on a road...
Amazing staff, and the best cooked to order breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. Lots of attention to detail here which is becoming increasingly hard to find. We absolutely loved this place.
