The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama

"The hotel is an amazing building itself. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They are always prompt to help at any time. The room was well cleaned and the service was excellent. We had a balcony in our room that had a garden view and we sat down every night to look at the stars. The breakfast options were vast, even for me who is coeliac. They were very helpful in providing anything that I had requested and I was super impressed as being a gluten free you always are on downside of options, but this was not the case there. There are plenty of restaurants options and the staff from Verona (Italian restaurant) mainly Francisco was amazing. I cannot say enough how he made us feel special on our dinners there. We have celebrated our wedding anniversary and my husband birthday and the staff were very thoughtful about it . The beach that it is by the hotel was amazing with a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our time at The Ritz Carlton in Tenerife and we will definitely be back soon."

"This hotel is wonderful! From the moment that you arrive at the front door, you receive a genuine welcome. Reception was welcoming, efficient and the resort map very helpful. A very elegant and spacious hotel, our room was beautiful, extremely comfortable, exceptionally clean and everything that you needed to enjoy a peaceful time. The restaurants, pool, gardens and bar areas were well maintained and it was a pleasure to spend our days and evenings there. I would like to say that above everything else, it really was the staff that made our holiday so special. Each and everyone always had a smile on their faces, greeted you warmly and always had time for you. Well done to everyone at Tivoli La Caleta - we look forward to returning soon."

"We stayed in a lagoon villa which was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Huge bed, we slept so well! Plenty of towels provided for both indoor and pool use. We booked a massage at the Serenity Spa and that was wonderfully relaxing. Everything at Royal River is tastefully decorated, super clean and immaculately done. The pictures are genuinely how it looks when you're there, we know as we tried out all the pools, both rivers and the jacuzzi. Don't miss breakfast, it's amazing! Make sure you have dinner at The Top at least once, some dishes are prepared at the table which is fun, and the views from up there are stunning. Royal River is in a very peaceful location so a bit of a walk down to La Caleta or into del Duque, but taxis are readily available if you prefer. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff and the way they really take care of you - right from arrival & welcome drinks to bidding them a sad farewell at the end of your stay. Special thanks to Manuel for putting up with our Spanish and being such fun to talk to. Also to Nancy for her warmth, her smile & looking after us at breakfast each day."
