Got lucky after the hotel my colleagues stayed in was full. This was a Great small, clean and nice hotel just a block from the castle. Friendly staff (all but one that I interacted with spoke fluent English), breakfast was good. If needed, bring a power strip that supports the higher voltage (no outlets near desk that weren't used. No individually controlled AC that I noticed but didn't matter with weather. Bring an outlet adapter/converter if needed, that fits in the circle shaped plugs in...

Expensive for last minute booking very close to Christmas Market. Amazing location, very clean, very nice & helpful staff & very good breakfast that was included in hotel stay. We learned that European hotels provide a fitted sheet and comforter and those that provide body wash instead of bar soap, do not provide a wash cloth. Americans used to both a top and fitted sheet and a wash cloth should consider packing your own.

The property was lovely and I had an amazing view. be prepared to check yourself in though. I was sent clear instructions and had no trouble picking up my room key and getting my hotel room. If you need a front desk or room service it might not be the place for you but for me it was perfect. I got to town late on the train and just needed a place to rest for the night. very close to many bars, the train station, and a beautiful Christmas market.

Pros: Breakfast was very good, and having the restaurant nearby was very convenient for when we were done sightseeing. Nice balcony, though the only view was into the breakfast patio (on the other hand, sleeping is usually the only thing I do while I am in the room). Good WiFi. Cons: No AC, like pretty much all of Europe; had to open the windows to cool it off at night. Hallways smelled weird, though the room did not.
