Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good and staff were extremely friendly! Everything was close by; only a few steps to the promenade. We had a great vacation time and will be back.
Kathrin was so helpful and kind! I brought my aunt and uncle and the 1 bedroom suite was perfect - the sofa bed was super comfortable for me, and I’m a picky tall gal! Literally the only wish would’ve been for feather pillows (comforter was down), but we also didn’t inquire. The offer was there to dial in bed stiffness, which we didn’t need. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh! And espresso drinks on offer as well
The location is excellent, scenic, perfect for families. The children (lots of them of young age) were well behaved. The hotel and surrounding area has many things for young kids and for adults. The meals (optional) were excellent at the brasserie. We did not try the restaurant with 4 course meal. The library was a beautiful room in which to work (or play board games) with a glass of wine.
I would make one suggestion that at check in they should give you a tour of the room so that you know all...
This hotel is near Luebeck but is definitely situated in the country. So, it would be perfect for visiting, and then retreating from this World Heritage city. It would also be great if you had time to relax and just sit in the garden or enjoy the countryside. There are no supporting services out there -- no entertainment complexes or stores -- so the hotel is very much your only resource. But a fine resource it is. It was superb and quite a surprise! The room was very large and the dinner was superb! Since we have visited several other German towns and the food could not compare with theirs. The service and hospitality was extra special.
This is - by far - the best Value for Money hotel I have stayed in for a long time. I chose the hotel to get good beds for the children as well as we adults. And indeed - full quality and size - not like in even high star international hotel chains. The two rooms had great size and equipped with modern design.
The breakfast was typical German - with fresh baked bread and fresh cut fruit.
