Very charming B&B! Fanny, our host, was friendly and helpful. They have on site parking and check in/check out process was easy. The room was small but comfortable for our family of 4 with a queen bed in one room and a bunk bed in an annex room. Location is quiet so we didn’t have any problem with noise. Bathroom is good, as well. The best part was the breakfast with a variety of bread and cakes, jam, honey, tea, juice, hot chocolate. Great experience I highly recommend this B&B
Lovely breakfast, big and quiet room even though it faced the square, practically on top of the abbey and near the walkable cute city centre, staff very nice and friendly with our quiet dog.
This is a wonderful property off the beaten path. It is perfect for spending a weekend enjoying the countryside and nearby cities like Lyon, Dijon, and Macon.
Easily found the hotel, check in smooth and the room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking at the back. Tucked away down a quiet street but within 5 minutes walk of the town centre, the Abbey itself and plenty of restaurants nearby.
The breakfast was a typical continental and checkout very simple.
Charming French provincial stone house with big garden - only problem was that check-in normally starts at 4.30pm but the owner very kindly opened up the premises for us at 3.00pm and so we had time to walk to the nearby town of Touros - a mediaeval gem in the heart of Burgundy. Although the churches and a remarkable hospital museum are worth seeing, we were most impressed by the two Michelin-starred restaurants and we ate at Les Terrasses which was absolutely superb. Property was quaint and very country. Faucet in bathroom dripped all night, bed pillows very uncomfortable. The staff was amazing and the food was great though! So happy staff spoke English. Would stay again.
You will not regret to come and stay in this hotel. The staff is fantastic and in case you do not speak English let me tell you very few people will speak English in a lot of restaurants and hotels in the rural France area. The views are just stunning and the food at the restaurant is like Michelin stars. Highly recommend it.
