It is a nice intimate atmosphere. The host and hostess are extremely nice. Dinner is also available. My wife left earrings in the room when we checked out, and we were able to get it back from the hostess in we finish exploring the west side of Loire valley!
Beautiful French château in the countryside! We really enjoyed our stay at this charming Shatto. It was in a beautiful area, close to the castles in the Loire Valley. The hotel itself was very charming. We did not eat any of our meals there so I cant rate the food. It seemed a bit expensive so we got breakfast pasteries ar a local shop in town. Very very clise to chateau Cheverny.
This hotel is beautiful and very inviting. The rooms were a bit small, which was a challenge, but we made the most of it and got along ok. I would stay here again, but would ask for the largest room they have.

A nice place to stay, but with a problem: the owner, Mme Arnelle Tocquet, who seems to exhibit contempt for her guests. Three examples: we arrive at 3:30PM, door is locked shut, no ringing or knocking success; a phone call raises a live voice, who explains that the hotel opens at 4. When I ask why this is not posted, she is adamant that it is: later when in person I confront her about this, and she points to a long ago faded sheet, totally illegible, and claims the information is there. ...
It was a great experience to stay in the old Abby. Breakfast there was the best breakfast we had for our whole trip in France with great view seeing the Sein river and the bridge. We got there at night so it was a bit hard to find the entrance and there was no sign pointing to which door the reception is. The person who helped us to check in was very helpful. She even helped my friend carried the big luggage up the stairs. We stayed on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. Overall we are...
