Enjoyed a pleasant two night stay here. With some advanced notice, we were able to arrive late and check in the following morning. The room was comfortable for my family of 5 and Herve served a fabulous breakfast for us each morning. Herve provided us with a map of Lyon and circled some places we should visit for a daytrip into the city. Upon our return that evening, we walked into the courtyard and were treated to a perfectly clear sky with hundreds of stars. Herve told us the following morning...

It's a big old home and furnished with beautiful antiques. It's a lovely quiet location that's quiet at night and there's no light pollution.
A decent breakfast is included and also the use of a fine kitchen, if you enjoy cooking for yourself while away on business this is a great thing to have.
The landlord is very pleasant and accommodating.
The Chateau is beautiful in all respects. The Chateau itself is wonderfully preserved, the rooms are spacious with views of the vineyards, the staff is exceptional (we were on the second floor and they helped carry our heavy cases upstairs with a smile!) and the grounds are stunning. The wine tasting is a must do - with an ontological experience before the tastings - and the wines are great. Highly recommend.
The stay at Hostellerie Sarrasine was more than lovely. The grounds are well kept and beautifully tended. The room was traditional and had modern technology. The best part was the food and service. The Famille Bévy had the most delicious French food; their cook incredible. The Bresse chicken is a must. The wine options phenomenal. The Famille Bévy were accommodating and so very warm to us. Would highly recommend this place for any looking to warm the soul.
