Very reasonable price for a very clean and quiet hotel. The bed was comfy and I slept really well.

Amazing castle, most elegant place I have ever stayed for the exceptional low price. Dinners were amazing and Frank, our waiter and other wait staff were exceptional. We hope to return some day and spend more than 2 nights as much to see in the area.

Large comfortable rooms. Great service. Accommodating. A little pricey for the area but very nice place to stay at.

Small room, no front desk, clean and good for one night

This is a great hotel we can't say enough positive things about this hotel. It was such a great experience, Regis the owner was a very gracious host and can help with just about anything We can't wait to go back the hotel made our vacation absolutely the best, we didn't want to leave. Large beautiful rooms, wonderful breakfast, very accommodating owners, comfortable bed and great amenities. It's #1 on our list.

The setting was unique. Originally hundreds of years old stone farmhouse. Grounds were extensive with vegetation, creek and pond, ponies, goats, etc. And many birds for bird watching. Gourmet restaurant on the premises.

This is my second time at this lovely hotel. The owners are hands on and it shows in the care. The location, with views of the Loire, is breathtaking, I stayed in one of the rooms with Loire view and highly recommend. There is parking for a small fee and an excellent morning buffet as well that you should consider. Five stars!

The staff were friendly, the area very walkable and the room was beautiful! Breakfast was also very good. We would absolutely stay again but next time for longer!

Everything was wonderful. I stayed there 5 days and tried everything, le petit déjeuner delicious, le dîner incredible ! Only thing I didn’t know is that I had to pay extra to enjoy the jacuzzi (why isn’t it included ?). I needed it to warm up bc coming from Miami, the drop in temperature was brutal :). But it’s ok I still loved it ! Thank you !

What a wonderful stay we had at your property. I especially appreciated the excellent help that Monique provided. She was not only very courteous but also gave us some great suggestions of things to visit and places to go eat. For our next stay, I would very much like to book the Louis the XIII room. I will have to find an opportunity to come back. Thanks again!

This is an oasis of peace in the middle of the boonies. Good food, great local ingredients.

Our hosts were incredibly nice, and very kind as I stumbled with my broken French. The property is absolutely gorgeous. I wish we could have stayed longer!

My two sons and I were biking the Loire Valley trail and picked this hotel for Saumur. They were wonderful to us with the bikes (stored in a locked garage next to the hotel) and the staff was more than happy to suggest restaurants and areas to go. The room itself was very small for having 2 queen beds - we could barely walk around the foot of the bed. We had no suitcases just saddle bags - I'm not sure how a large suitcase would work. I don't recall an elevator so if you have heavy bags request...

The welcoming staff was very, very helpful and assisted us in parking our bikes downstairs. The view of the river was incredible!
