Charming hotel in the perfect location! Will dream of coming back! The view out of our window was the papal palace. The quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in even though it is city center. I am sure that was because of the cut stone walls. The breakfast buffet was good and worth the price. But there are plenty of dining options within easy walking. Our train was leaving later in the day so they were happy to hold our luggage after we checked out. Our stay really was perfect!

By local standards maybe this boutique hotel is a bit over-priced but by metropolitan city (Paris, N.Y., San Francisco, London, etc..) standards this is an extremely good value. Uzes is one of the best kept secrets in Southern France and la Maison d'Uzes is a pearl in Uzes. It took over 4 years to restore the building that the hotel is housed in.
