My family loved this ancient chateau (medieval, with 17th and 18th century additions). The location was perfect, next to a little village with medieval church, artisanal bakery, and general grocery store for picnic supplies. Our room was huge, with a view over the moat, modernized bathroom, and even a small maid's room tucked up a tiny staircase. The breakfast in the main chateau was great, with local cheeses, jams, etc, and the dinner in the Orangerie was an experience worthy of a Michelin star...

It was a quick stay for us. I booked the hotel last minute and got there at around 8:30-9. Everything was excellent from arrival to departure. The room is spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. The bed was extremely soft and wonderful, making for a great night’s sleep.
