The only bad thing about this hotel was the WI-FI; the signal was terrible, and in order to connect, one had to be in the restroom. Other than the Wi-Fi the place is very nice and the staff is friendly and helpful.
A bit off the beaten path but absolutely worth it. A friendly and accommodating staff made our stay at this tranquil property as simple as possible. Wine from their own winery/vineyard is available as well as the restaurant where beyond amazing. If this property is within an hour of your destination I cannot recommend them enough. We used this property the night before heading to Venice and in hindsight we would have made the trip back there afterwards as well.
Top marks for this lovingly restored/renovated Villa. the room was spacious and comfortable. Marco and his family were pleasant and friendly hosts. the location is lovely as it is in a smaller community with beautiful surroundings but still convenient to the A4, larger towns like Verona and only 15 minutes from Soave with several wonderful dining options and the Soave Castle which is well worth a visit (or revisit in our case since we did visit Soave on our first trip to Italy in 2002).
My wife and I stayed in this hotel 2 nights in May 2017. Everything was near perfect. The hotel is true 5* beautiful, very clean and comfortable. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. I stayed in this hotel 2 nights. It is little bit ran down inside and doesn't feel like a four star hotel. However it has a great private hot springs pool as part of the hotel and the staff is just wonderful. I enjoyed my time here and spent few hours in the Sulfer-rich hot springs pool. The hotel is only about 15 miles from the city of Padua but it takes more than half an hour to drive there because of the traffic. This was my 4 th time in Abano but 1st time with kids and 1st time at the principe. We had a great time. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect. The bus stop for Venice and Padova was right in front of the hotel and the pedestrian area just a few minutes walk.
