This is a really beautiful property, and specific to those seeking remoteness. The village is effectively uninhabited, and at the same time offers a dramatic view of the surrounding mountains. A bottle of wine is offered for sale, but if you’re planning to eat in the evening, plan on driving 10-15 minutes to the closest restaurants. Of note, the breakfast was very complete and delicious!

The property outside was in very poor condition but the rooms were lovely. All renovated and spotless. Breakfast was very nice with lots of fresh home made options. Wish they would clean up the outside!

Luigi was fast and friendly on getting me into my room. It was clean and exactly what I needed.

If you want to get away from the crowds and relax in the countryside, this is the place! Incredibly beautiful, clean, and well maintained. You will be well cared for. Donatella will prepare regional foods for you that are fresh and devine! It is a little challenging to find and you will likely need a car .. but once there you will return! You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful, old building! Tons of space with tons of charm! We didn't use the kitchen, but it was well stocked if we had needed to. Short walk to Piazza Garibaldi and all of the wonderful confetti shops! Bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Would definitely stay there again!

Was a fabulous and much less expensive alternative to the Sextantio property. Had a full 2 bedroom apartment, with shower and nicely prepared kitchen area. Breakfast items and coffee/ tea service provided, with fruit, yogurt, milk in fridge. Cute area, with local shops and eateries close by.

This was a wonderful place that I would go back to every time I come to Sulmona. Roberto and Giuseppe were exceptionally helpful. The breakfast was fabulous and the location couldn’t be better. If I could give this place six stars I would!

Where do I start. Angela and her family (brother and mother) treated us as part of their family from check in to check out. Their attention to details throughout the hotel warrants the 4 star rating. Hospitality is a 5 star rating. Where do you find a nonna serving breakfast and talking about family recipes? The location is perfect. The hotel is clean and our room was comfortable and spacious. Beautiful location in the mountains. The woman at check-in gave us a map of the area and told us what to see and do. She also gave us a very interesting brief history of the building.

Large apartment rooms. In the countryside but not far from Solomona - an easy drive. Friendly English speaking owner. A very good stay. It was our anniversary. The apartment was decorated for us. Breakfast is not included in the price. If you purchase a breakfast it is all packaged items.

The host was gracious. The place is magical. The dinner was OK.

The owner was very welcoming but not open to checkin till 4:30pm We had the quad room . Bed was ok . Great shower . Room had huge double window to let air in. Great breakfast and coffee was amazing. Incredibly scenic drives up the mountain from here.
