This was a journey into the past. Atena Lucana, the old city, is high on the mountain top and overlooks a spectacular valley below. It has breathtaking views. You need to be a mountain goat to climb and explore the streets. But if you love antiquity and have a sense of adventure, you won't be disappointed. The church of St Ciro is quite beautiful. This hotel we perfect for what we needed, One night and reasonable price. They have free WIFI which is always a plus and on site free parking! Room had plenty of space for a short stay, Bathroom was large and clean. Large balcony, tho it rained during my stay. Restaurant down stairs was very good, and inexpensive. Breakfast was a normal continental variety.

We attended a wedding in Capaccio. The bride and groom suggested this hotel. It is so tastefully done. Even though it is only about 10 years old it appears authentic. The restaurant was superb and the proprietor and staff were exceptional with their caring. It is a family operation and they are charming. This was an amazing place! The rooms were comfortable, the view was amazing, the breakfast was good and the cappuccinos were wonderful. The staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to help us communicate, since we didn't speak much Italian. The area was so quaint and we had a great time. We would definitely recommend this hotel!
This is the second time I’ve been back to this property. The owner is a lovely man. The breakfast is excellent. You can open a bottle of wine and enjoy it in the beautiful garden.
The room was very nice and clean. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Giovanni helped me with transportation around Sala Consilina to see the town center and the sights in the area. He also helped me get to Teggiano for my stay there. Wonderful people!
