Staff at Grand Dolphin were very helpful and courteous, starting from the front desk management to the dining staff. Laksmi from the reservation team made my car bookings to Ayodhya, Boat Tour for Ganga Aarati and Airport pick up. Prices were reasonable and she was very responsive to my requests. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to Varanasi.
We were warmly welcomed after a long day of flying and driving. Neeraj the manager was able to help us with any needs we had. He went above and beyond with making us comfortable, ordering food, taxis, morning boat ride and anything else we needed. The food was delicious in the restaurant and clean. The service was was good and my friend and I really enjoyed our stay. Great value, excellent breakfast buffet! Very nice staff (Thank you Santos). Great spa. Location is off the river front but still nice. You’ll have to cab or tuk tuk to the riverfront and old town but at 60 to 75 a night, it’s a deal. The bar and lounge on grounds is also a gem. Thank you for a nice stay 👍
The room was clean and comfortable
However a lot of noise from guests at all times at night. The doors ned to be more sound proof.
Restaurant service needs to be improved
I am often in Varanasi for work, and always stay at te Diamond. It is near both to the center city and riverfront and to the university and yet quickly accessible to the route to the airport and train station. The staff are helpful, from arranging cars for longer road trips to providing all the necessities of a hotel stay. The rooms are quite large, and the bathrooms have recently been remodeled, a further plus. The restaurant is good.
