I can’t recommend Gaja Rooms highly enough. Even before arriving, the owner, Demet, was incredibly helpful with tips and advice. The place feels newly refurbished; the rooms are spacious, spotless, and tastefully furnished, and I only regret staying for just one night. The location is ideal—set in a very quiet part of the old town, yet perfectly placed for exploring the city and easily reaching great restaurants, cafés, and pubs. Stayed at Cunda Garden on a road trip with our toddler. We liked the Cunda island and the hotel enough to extend our stay another night. Extremely kind and thoughtful staff. The breakfast is top notch, much better than eating outside(we have been on a road trip for two months so we tried all sorts of places). They bring a really nice cook for the breakfast and everything is fresh made. They cooked menemen and omelettes in the way we wanted.

Clean room and nice hotel but really BEST breakfast I’ve ever had. Fresh fried donut, a variety of meats and cheeses, fruits and hard boiled eggs finished in a cask iron skillet. Outstanding!
Clean and charming room with a balcony overlooking the bay and town. Super nice and helpful innkeeper who also spoke English. Very good breakfast in top floor dining area with big glass windows and views in all directions. Also a great location in the middle of the old town. If you drive, talk to them first before trying to navigate to the hotel.
