This was a quick but lovely stay. The hosts were kind and welcoming. The home had thoughtful amenities. The breakfast was delicious, mostly homemade. Thank you!

New rooms, very helpful front desk, excellent staff

The grounds are beautiful and the room was comfortable. The staff was very friendly to our non-French speaking group. When checking out, I had accidentally left several hundred Euros in my room. The cleaning staff found it and returned it to the front desk. The manager called to tell me and we were able to return later in the day to retrieve it. I appreciate their integrity.

We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. Bill had also brought some snacks/breakfast for us. The place was gorgeous, and very quiet, being in the middle of the countryside. It is located about 30 min drive from the scenic town...

Breakfast was basic. Could have had better cereal. Also coffee maker not working. Staff very sweet and made espressos. Parking free right in front. Rooms very quiet.

Room was very nice and spacious. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great! At a walking distance from the castle of the town.

Whenever I travel through Fougeres I always stay at the Brit. The management is always friendly and accommodating!

We loved it! Fun old home converted to a hotel. Our favorite of four we stayed in this past week.

We needed a place last minute - this was not too expensive and clean. It’s a little ourlet of the way, but it worked for us. Breakfast is also included, but we needed to leave very early.
