"Excellent services, great room and food"

"The stay at Taketoritei Maruyama was amazing. The staff were very attentive, polite, and helpful! The shuttle service especially was super helpful especially w/ aging parents as part of our group and the intense summer heat. The rooms were clean and the spa spaces were also very clean and well maintained. I would recommend Taketoritei Maruyama to anyone heading to Arima Onsen."

"Great balance between modern facilities and great historical famous onsen"

"It was a perfect experience to stay in the hotel. Everything is more than expected, in particular the meals."

"An absolute dream of a ryokan experience. The area of Arima was a perfect place to stay in a traditional Japanese onsen/ryokan. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke English very well. The breakfast we paid for was worth the extra amount. I wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Mycket hög servicenivå på personalen. Fina omgivningar och utmärkt mat."

"I visit this ryokan every other year. Their service including the food is always amazng."

"Tocen Goshoboh has been an amazing place to stay. We especially appreciated how uniquely (historical) technological elements are thoughtfully blended with the traditional Japanese atmosphere. The onsen was truly special, and the staff—particularly our nakai-san—were extremely helpful and welcoming. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience authentic ryokan culture."

"고즈넉하고 한적한 분위기. 웰컴 드링크를 비롯한 정갈한 아침식사와 cozy한 노천 온천도 힐링하기에 정말 좋았음. 유카타도 무료로 대여해주고 다다미방으로 되어있어서 일본 료칸의 느낌늘 즐기기에도 충분했음"

"Nice enough and fun to have dinner and breakfast in room."

"Amazing location, price and staff. I know a little bit of Japanese so that helped, but they have a book for non-Japanese speakers! If you’re visiting, just please be respectful of their rules. I would definitely come back and recommend to everyone!"

"Large space and very comfortable. Felt super homey and and walking g distance to all of the sights in town."

"Good and clean rooms. Breakfast spread was good"

"다소 오랫된 가성비 있는 호텔입니다, 가장 큰 단점이 아리마 온센역에서 걸어가려고 경사가 있어서 힘듭니다. 호텔 로비에 전화하면 픽업 서비스 가능합니다. 그리고 경로를 구글 지도에서 알려주는 길로 가면 너무 힘듭니다. 아리마 온천 마을 상점가 많은 경로(금턍 가는 길)로 가면 완만하고 구경도 하고 아주 좋습니다"

"I love the hot springs ♨️ Soothing "

"Clean ryoukan in a picturesque little alley, a spacious room and a sublime private bath. You also recieve a free voucher for the nearby ki no yu onsen. The breakfast is massively large and tasty, I'll definitely visit again when I'm in Kobe. "

" ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Staying at this ryokan was an incredible experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like a valued guest, providing warm and attentive service. The traditional tatami room was immaculate, with beautiful decor that created a peaceful atmosphere and views overlooking the mountain landscape. The highlight was undoubtedly the onsen—spending time in the hot springs, surrounded by nature, was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The ryokan’s attention to detail, from...
