I traveled to Bayahibe for scuba diving, and hotel el Pulpo was 10 minutes away from the beach by walking. There is a shortcut to scuba caribe where I did my dive and excursion. Relaxing and spa-like boutique hotel within the Catalonia Gran Dominicus complex. Beautiful grounds and the staff was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. Top shelf drinks and fine dining within the “ROYAL” hotel. You have the option of going to Catalonia Gran Dominicus for swimming, activities, and additional dinning option (Buffet etc..) However-we spent most of our time in the “Royal” hotel and loved the experience.
