"The hospitality of the owner was super amazing, warm and friendly. Dinner and wine delicious! The room was basic but clean and cosy and we had very nice continental breakfast within our room. A very pleasurable overnight stay and we loved Stamford!"

"Nice friendly staff, nice room."

"Primarily chosen as it was near to an event we were attending at the Nene Valley Railway (a short drive from the pub). We liked that the accommodation was in a separate building to the pub (although the pub was not loud). Good breakfast, evening meals, and friendly staff. We have a lovely walk around the village one evening, went back following day to try the local tea rooms but they closed early which was a shame. Will definitely stay here again"

"Pleasant easy check in, easy to park, comfortable bed, a welcome break from travelling."
