"We came expecting to walk a distance to the main shopping area. We were pleasantly surprised the unit is just in the heart of the Hongdae area. The rooms are clean, and even had a welcome basket with snacks in it. The owner is very nice and replied to my queries very fast. The bathrooms come equipped with most necessities less toothbrush but we brought our own. There is a total of 3 queen size beds and one sofa bed. Comes with a kitchen and dining area with fridge, microwave and pots for cooking...

"Great little spot tucked away in the quieter part of Hongdae, only short walk to get to the lively spots. Rooms are basic, but nice with complementary charger and fridge, if you just need a place to test during your sightseeing this is a great spot. Communal area is cozy and has plenty of offerings for a quick morning snack and breakfast before you head out. Access is by code, host greets and gets you squared away quickly. "

"Clean and great location just a 5 minute walk from Hongik University station. Bonus…it is on the airport line and for a mere 5500 won for the fast train to terminals 1 and 2 to/from Incheon Airport, and Gimpo airport is a stop as well. The 1 Line is a straight line to Jamsil and Lotte Tower and popular stops in central Seoul. Shopping on Honguate is just about 5/10 minute walk. Olive Young store for a comprehensive selection of Korean skincare is super close as well to the Daol Guesthouse....

"The guesthouse is up the hill and a narrow set of stairs. The rooftop area is nice. The room itself is clean. However there is a lot of mold in the washrooms and showers due to ventilation issues. I’m not sure if the owner knows. I mentioned it and they said sorry). "

"Nice location, hotel is clean with good amenities. Love being able to wash & dry clothes. The hotel surroundings are dodgy and no lift to 3rd floor and difficult if have big & heavy luggages. Good to have Hair salon & CU below "
