"A spectacular (although short!) stay in one of my all time favourite hotels around the world! A warm welcome by helpful staff and I was blown away by the architectural splendour of the decor and aesthetic appeal of all areas of the hotel from gorgeous rooftop pool with its red striped sun loungers to the immaculately clean guest rooms and amazing lobby. I can’t wait to stay here when next in Barcelona!"

"First of all this is someone's apartment, not a hotel. The apartment was very clean and well located. My only complaint was that the phone number provided in our messages and outside the building would not complete calls unless WhatsApp was used. I used WhatsApp and called the number and no one answered. Your only effective communication is through the hotels.com message system. "We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Actual while in Barcelona. Our room was comfortable, spacious (including two twin beds for our boys) and extremely clean. The breakfast was expansive and delicious and the staff welcoming and polite. Additionally, the hotel was in a great location, convenient to public transit and walkable to several different exciting landmarks (e.g. Casa Battlo) and near shipping and restaurants.
