"This place should be 5 star rated. Best stay for us in India. Everything was perfect. Food was marvelous and the rooms very well decorated, maintained and comfortable. There was filtered ( reverse osmosis) water available to every guests. The staff was up and running cleaning the building and the lawn. Evening had music and folk dancing. We had the privilege to meet the owner who took his time to talk about the history of the building and surrounding areas. One can never go wrong with this...

"Padmaa is a very lovely hotel. The staff are very nice, Monika the manager is extremely professional and helpful, and the hotel itself is lovely. A charming haveli which has been sensitively restored, it is in one of the bazaars of the old city, so close to everything, but also not noisy at night. " This hotel was great for our family of four. Our plane didn’t land until 12 am and so we had contacted our the hotel to let them know around 3 pm that day. When we arrived at midnight it was very tough to wake up the staff and they were not prepared for us. They gave us two rooms even though we didn’t need two rooms. "We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and have nothing but positive things to say about both the staff and the facilities. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was spacious and well-appointed. We also ordered food delivery a few nights and really enjoyed spending time on the rooftop patio, which offered beautiful views of the city.
