Beautiful property with a nice spa. The room was very quiet and the bed comfortable. Overall, I had a great stay.
For Improvements, I would recommend to switch form bottled waters in the room and spa to filtered water with glasses to save on plastic.
Lastly, the breakfast was nice but I didn’t feel like it was worth nearly 30 euros.
We stayed one night and wish we had stayed longer. Located in the middle of the city center, with everything a short walk away. The hotel itself has very nice rooms and amenities, along with the wonderful cocktail bar. A memorable property and somewhere we hope to stay again.
The hotel was very clean and the dtaff were wonderful. They were very kind and helpful. Just keep in mind you have to use stairs and no A/C. Very real European experience. We enjoyed it!
First, the location is fantastic - very close to Belfry and most "must see" locations. Tram #1 from Gent St. Pieter train station drops you at Korenmarkt and the hotel is just across the street.
There is a brochure near front desk that promotes free 2 hour walking tour of the city - this was helpful to see most places and to get acquainted with the geography. City is very walkable.
Our room overlooked the front courtyard and St. Nicholas cathedral - really nice view.
Hotel staff were...
What a wonderful hotel experience!
Hotelier Marc and his wife were gracious and accommodating hosts, the room was lovely, and breakfast was delicious. What more could one want? Location was quiet, but only a short walk to everything we wanted to visit, and right on the bus line from the train station.
Very confortable but to carry my bags to my room was awful .
Stairs to get to the lobby and the elevator and stairs again from the elevator to my room NO HELP AT ALL
We are seniors and could not carry around , should think of this .
The hotel is immaculately maintained, and staff is friendly, attentive, and ready to provide assistance if needed. Thomas at the front desk was especially helpful in answering questions about train service to the airport as well as several other matters. Breakfast offered a good variety in a nicely decorated sitting area. The hotel itself appears to have been a mansion of some sort in years gone by, and has some impressive architectural features. Our room was on the small side, though otherwise...
Wonderful boutique type hotel, very friendly helpful staff. Parking garage underground with elevator is just a few steps away. Everything is walkable from this hotel. It was perfect. If you're wondering about the modern glass open type bathroom, the toilet is in a seperate area with a door. There is a thin sheer curtain but not a door. We opened the storage door near one twin bed and it obscured the view. It worked fine for us. Just sat on the other side of the halfwall with the tv to...
Hotel was nice and clean and comfortable. Super close to the train station. Walked to the cute city center but can also take a taxi or uber. Staff was nice. Construction is happening around the hotel but it was quiet inside. Recommend!
The people were friendly, welcoming, and available. The room was pristine, and the water pressure was fantastic. The hotel is quiet, and well-located. I was so happy to have chosen this spot. Will come back!
A what a great location. An authentically historic property with modern amenities and an excellent breakfast. I would recommend the property to anyone visiting Brugge. What a beautiful and friendly place
I had a great time here in Brugge. The hotel is beautiful. Old with charm yet Chan and well taken care of. It's more of a large bed and breakfast than a hotel. It feels like you are staying in a large house between the two biggest cathedrials in town. You are close to everything. I like that i had drinks in my room and the prices weren't bad at all. Maybe a €1 more than a store. The bed was really comfortable. The room was small, but it's Europe, i expect that. The bathroom was large...
