The hotel was very quiet and the room was spacious and looked like the pictures. The breakfast was hearty and fresh.

This was an amazing place, beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, clean and tidy. The view from the balcony of the restaurant was amazing. The only thing was that the breakfast was nothing fancy. Other than that, 10/10.

It's a very good base for walking in the area, though the lake is not as pretty as Titisee up the road. Parking was easy, luckily, but they also give you a pass while you're there and you can take the train wherever you want. If you have a dog, the facilities are good and they were very kind. There's a nice park just up the hill, great for early morning or late night walkies. Very convenient to a grocery store, an atm, and right across the street from the tourist information center! We were looking for a smaller hotel with a traditional Schwarzwald flair in a beautiful location, and this fit the bill perfectly! This is an old house, but entirely up to modern standards inside, with a friendly staff and warm feel. The room was cozy, looking out on the quiet main plaza with its church. This was a secret find! A treasure of a place tucked up in the hills near the Black Forest. Historical charm, excellent room and breakfast. Wellness center exceeded my expectations. Lovely staff and easy parking. Across the street is a nice park and the town square and access to the ruins are walkable.

Hotel Sonne was fantastic. The hotel itself is in the typical area style, beautiful woodwork and furnishings. Extremely clean. The location is very good. Directly in the town center and local attractions ie hiking, etc. within a few minutes drive. The staff made us feel at home. The restaurant is a top rated restaurant in Germany.

This hotel is centrally located, with many dining, shopping, and cultural attractions within a few minutes’ walk. The main railway and bus station is only a brisk ten-minute walk away. The hotel staff is friendly, the buffet breakfast is excellent, and our room was clean and comfortable, as well as air-conditioned (which, in the middle of a heat wave, was no small thing).

It was magical, whimsical and wonderful every step of the way. We couldn't complain about a thing! The staff was so kind and friendly and fun. The sad thing was that we had to leave . You must stay there if your in the Black Forest:)
