The hotel was very quiet and the room was spacious and looked like the pictures. The breakfast was hearty and fresh.

The property was beautiful and the view was amazing! Plenty to do in the area even in the summer. Breakfast was delicious. One of our favorite stays while visiting Germany.

A wonderful location in the Black forest with the flair of the old Germany the old Black Forest the people working there were absolutely wonderful. It’s a very classy environment. Fantastic food, fantastic wine from barrels. They also have a sauna and a honor system in the seller so if you would like wine or any other beverage, you just take it put your name on it and pay at the end beautiful environment. You can see all the hills and mountains. Nice cute little town walking distance to a bus...

There is a beautiful hiking trail right by the hotel. Good souvenir stores right next to hotel. My daughter had her birthday while we were there and the staff ordered her a Black Forest birthday cake and decorated the table for her. I was very impressed with their service to help make this a memorable day for my daughter.

This is a beautiful place. Gorgeous landscaping, plenty of places to sit or walk the trails. Very clean. We didn't like the shower in our room, and there were quite a few stairs to our elevator which was difficult with luggage. I really would have stayed longer if we could. The pool was nice and I had a good massage.

Arrived in the evening, very hot, 33 C, and was greeted with a cold glass of white wine or water, excellent! And so was the rest of our stay —

We had an enjoyable stay in every respect. Located very close to the train station. The area was absolutely beautiful and we did not have any problems during our hotel stay. Room was clean. Staff was very helpful.

Excellent value for Switzerland. 5 minute walk to station with quick connections to Basel and 1 hour to Zurich. High quality furnishings and TV and spacious room.

This was an amazing place, beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, clean and tidy. The view from the balcony of the restaurant was amazing. The only thing was that the breakfast was nothing fancy. Other than that, 10/10.

It's a very good base for walking in the area, though the lake is not as pretty as Titisee up the road. Parking was easy, luckily, but they also give you a pass while you're there and you can take the train wherever you want. If you have a dog, the facilities are good and they were very kind. There's a nice park just up the hill, great for early morning or late night walkies. Very convenient to a grocery store, an atm, and right across the street from the tourist information center! Amazing place which is in the corner of the country.. Clean, comfortable, and and relaxing. I'll be back.
