The hotel was beautiful and the pictures on the site are spot on with what you get. The staff are exceptionally nice and informative about the area.

I have stayed in several different hotels in Amsterdam. This is the best hotel for the average person -- noting I am sure there are some nicer hotels that would cost $400 a night. This hotel is perfectly located between the Museum Quarter, the old section, next to Rembrandt Square, very close to the mile long walking mall, near other great shopping streets. The hotel staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Our room had a beautiful canal view. Walking distance to restaurants, museums. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Charming! My room faced the beautiful garden and was the quietest place on earth. Hotel is in an old merchant's house facing the canal...lots of history with 21st century comfort. The staff was particularly helpful in locating my misplaced suitcase (airport issue). Location could not be better....short walk to the Dam and tram stop. Around the corner is the Tulip Museum, Ann Frank house and Westernkirke (free daily organ concert). I will definitely return.

The Staff on the front desk wasn’t very welcome. The lady at the restaurant Gorette was amazing, very sweet and efficient.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The staff was very friendly, the location is ideal for the canals, attractions, museums and trams. And the breakfast was very good each morning with a nice variety. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends!

I was so nervous about finding a hotel in Amsterdam. Hoilday inn express was familiar (as it’s a popular hotel chain in America) and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and can help order drivers if you need to go some place without walking. If walking is your vibe— The area is very walkable and next door to an AMAZING Sushi place. If I ever find my way back to Amsterdam, i will be staying at the Hoilday Inn express.

Nice hotel, great location. Metro station is in just 3-4 minutes of casual walk. To get to hotel from Centrlal Station, go to metro line M52 and take a train going to South (Zuid). Next station Rokin is yours. Clean rooms, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. All you need to take the rest and get your day started.

This was the perfect hotel for a short break in Amsterdam. The location was perfect if you want to be near excellent restaurants and shops, and it was a 40 minute walk from the most popular areas in the Jordaan. Clean and lovely room, loved the keyless check in.

Very convenient for everything.

We chose this hotel because it was walking distance to many things we wanted to see in Amsterdam. A bonus was that a train stop is only a block away so you can easily get anywhere. We arrived on a red eye flight and got to the hotel before noon. We had hoped to just sit in the lobby and play cards for a couple of hours. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever stayed on.

The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location was amazing being so close to the Centraal train station as well as tour offices, restaurants, etc. Good value for the price of the hotel, location and amenities. I also enjoyed the breakfast that was included in the price of the room especially since I had some early mornings and did not have time to locate places to grab coffee and food. Overall, a great experience at this hotel. I would definitely book it again.
