"Really lovely break away. Large clean room and bathroom. Couldn’t fault it. Nice bar and restaurant with attentive staff. Would stay again."

"Fantastic stay at Broadoaks. Staff were extremely efficient and helpful. Lovely room with excellent facilities. Will definitely stay again. "

"The location was amazing with lakeside views. The staff were extremely helpful, breakfast was delicious and cooked well. The room was clean and very comfortable with all the required amenities!"

"We had a fabulous room overlooking the river. The amenities were great, and the breakfast was substantial."

"Clean room friendly staff great foof"

"Clean room, great amenities, lovely bar."

"Although this property was clean and presented well, I was disappointed after paying nearly $300 that there where no toiletries other that pump soap and no tea or coffee facilities in the room. Also the room was so hot as was the hotel itself. One plus the pool was clean and well kept. Room service was poor."

"Excellent stay! Would go again. The staff and site were great"

"I don’t really want to write a review. I want this to be a best kept secret. A proper farm house, A boot room for after a muddy hike. A huge kitchen to cook in whilst with your family, 2 living rooms ideal for when your eldest daughter has had enough of her family for one day and 4 generous bedrooms. Everything was neat and tidy. Will be booking it again. The garden was nice and as I sat in the window we saw a stoat in the run and hide under the stones."

"Beautiful old stone inn on a hill with friendly staff and beautiful gardens."

"Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. "

"Very cosy hotel. Made even greater thanks to the lovely service from the staffmembers including the exceptional Jude and Helen. Great location."

"Liked where it was positioned, nice parking spot, comfortable furnishings, nice essentials in fridge for our arrival"

"Our stay at Elton’s Escape was lovely. The caravan is nicely decorated with a cosy, welcoming vibe, and its location made it perfect for visiting Ambleside and Windermere. The living/dining area was fresh and welcoming, unlike many dog-friendly caravans which often carry an odour. Wi-Fi was excellent too. When we arrived, the caravan hadn’t yet been cleaned after the previous guests, but once we called the helpline, the on-call cleaning team responded promptly and resolved the issue. One thing...

"We had an excellent stay with an amazing view of lake Windermere. Our two boys had good reviews of the apartment which is unusual. The apartment was very well kept and very comfortable ♥️"

"The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere. The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped but he had to buy paper kitchen towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets. All in all, our stay was great. We would stay here again. "
