Hotels in São Vicente

This was my second time staying at Cliff bay and it was even more exceptional than the first. The have very low employee turnover so you are remembered which was very nice:-) The food is world class and the accommodations were amazing, I am already planning my next visit!!!

My husband and I stayed four nights and had a very positive experience. The staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early. The hotel has a low density in terms of number of rooms and a relaxing atmosphere was prevalent. The breakfast buffet (included in price) was excellent and provided a good variety of good quality choices. The pool, while outdoors, was heated sufficiently to allow a swim even when the temperature was on the chilly side. The room was clean...

The hotel is situated in the country, near tall trees and grape vines, convenient to hiking in that part of Madeira. The views were lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. For the 3 of us, the room was a bit crowded, but okay.

This was one of the cleanest and nicest hostels I’ve been to! It is an amazing location, and the street parking was super easy. The property was beautiful on the outside. The room was a little bit dated, and the bed was super squeaky, but I can’t complain too much. The kitchen was very nice, and we had a great experience overall.

Yes! This was a wonderful room and facility. We enjoyed are stay and appreciated the welcome basket. A truly wonderful place to spend valentines day.

Excellent property! The hotel is in a beautiful, quiet village surrounded by amazing views. Feels like you’re in Santorini! Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. The hotel has pricing for affordable rentals cars, much cheaper than what we paid. Definitely worth staying at if you want to be away from the city.

This is a lovely quinta in a gorgeous setting. The hotel receptionist/waitress was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The room was big and comfortable.

2 week stay. 2nd visit. Upgraded to balcony rooms facing the mountains with water view. Never gets tiring.

The views from the ocean view are amazing. Beautiful location too. Rooms are older and quite dated yet very clean and a great balcony. We’d stay again for sure.

I really really enjoyed my stay. Hotel was clean and quiet and served my needs perfectly. Hotel staff was able to arrange for a rental car for me when I arrived to the hotel. Free parking was very limited but, I was always able to find paid street parking not far from the hotel. So not really a big deal. The hotel staff are superb. A special acknowledgement to Barbara Gomez who is so kind, professional, always had a smile on her face and offered great suggestions for things to do in Madeira...

The level of service, courtesy and kindness demonstrated by the staff was the best I have ever experienced anywhere! The facilities were lovely, very clean, and spacious. Food in all four restaurants was excellent (especially the Med) with great variety and quality. And we loved the breakfasts! I would return in a heartbeat.

We stayed for 5 nights and it was perfect. Cleanest hotel we have stayed in so far. Location is great. Breakfast offered a nice variety and staff were friendly. We would recommend and stay again!

We stayed a week and the staff was incredibly accommodating. At the restaurant they were able to work with our dietary restrictions, for morning hikes when we would miss hikes they arranged a takeaway bag for us to take in the morning. Very clean space and great views.

Our stay here totally exceeded expectations! The grounds are gorgeous and the room was enormous compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Lisbon and Porto. The staff were incredibly sweet and accommodating. The kitchenette in the room was such a welcome surprise. We were able to cook a nice dinner one evening that we enjoyed on the patio overlooking downtown Funchal. Definitely hit the breakfast for 12 euros at least once. It was charming and delicious.
