"Hotel Aero is a traditional Danish hotel that seems frozen in time since the days of sail. Helpful, friendly staff who almost all speak English. Clean, comfortable and in close proximity to central Svendborg. The food is excellent and very Danish - the freshly cooked and prepared breakfast buffet is a particular highlight. This was the third time we have stayed there and it just gets better and better. Highly recommended and a cut above bland, modern hotels"

"This is more of a guest house but we loved it. Feels very homely. It's got a nice style to it that blends traditional and modern. We definitely valued the chance to cook our own meals as there is access to a kitchen with hob and grill which gives guests the opportunity to make light meals or snacks.
